Position: Theatrical Systems Installer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Installation of theatrical equipment, including but not limited to stage lighting, curtains, theatrical rigging, sound systems, and video systems.
  • Shop / Jobsite organization and clean up.
  • Pulling of control wire and cables & installation of conduit; soldering and termination of low voltage wiring.
  • Theatrical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Working in man-lifts and at height within and outside structures.
  • Following site and company safety rules and guidelines.
  • Physical activities include but not limited to lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying 50+ lbs.
  • Working in existing or under-construction venues, requiring personal protective equipment: hard hat, safety glasses, hi-vis vest, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
  • Traveling up to 5 days per week, with up to four nights in a hotel per week.
  • The ability to work some overtime will be required.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team is essential.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time, non-exempt position with hourly rate dependent on experience, education, and training. Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance coverages available. Employee matching 401K plan available after one year of service
  • Eight paid holidays per year
  • PTO accrual begins after the first year of employment
  • Monthly cell phone reimbursement
  • Employment is contingent on the passing of a pre-employment drug screening and employees are subject to random drug screenings thereafter

  • Pay rate based on experience and knowledge range of $ 16-18 per hour

Position: Lighting Specialist

Primary Duties:

  • Meet with new and existing customers to make recommendations on lighting system and equipment upgrades.
  • Write and submit professional sales proposals.
  • See projects through to completion, including:
    • Create, review, and implement lighting design drawings and submittals.
    • Communicate with electricians, general contractors, and other departments concerning project needs. 
    • Attend construction site coordination meetings, as required. 
    • Act as the Lead Technician for a jobsite, as required.
    • Train end-users on new lighting systems and consoles.
    • Independently troubleshoot and ensure a new system is functioning as designed.
  • Train new technicians on specific installation skills.
  • Obtain and maintain ETC Installation Technician Certification.
  • The possibility of traveling out of town with overnight stays.
  • Physical duties can include but are not limited to lifting, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs.

  • Responsible, and organized work habits to be able to keep up with deadlines and complete daily work on time with few mistakes.
  • Ability to perform all necessary skills on jobsites regarding installation and programming of lighting and control systems. 
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Follow company, OSHA, and specific jobsite safety protocols.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
