Project Specialist

Candidate must have the ability to jump from project to project and priority to priority on a regular basis. Working individually and in groups. Self-starting is a must.  This job will require travel from time to time, sometimes for up to a week at a time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and drawing (Autocad and Sketchup preferred).
  • Carpentry all aspects from concept to finish product.
  • Welding and metal fabrication.
  • Estimating and materials procurement.
  • Basic electrical skills.
  • Efficient use of time management.
  • Rigging (theatrical and industrial). This can include working at heights either inside a building or outside in the elements. 
  • Proficient use of power and hand tools.
  • Painting and paint prep.
  • Theatrical Lighting hang and focus.
  • IT knowledge a plus.
  • Basic office computer software use.

Professional Qualities:

  • Polite, courteous, tactful and able to communicate well with the public and company staff.
  • Responsible, and organized work habits to be able to keep up with deadlines and complete daily work on time with few mistakes.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast paced and occasionally high- pressure environment.

Additional Information:

  • Full- time, non-exempt position rate dependent on years of experience, education and training. Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours per week.
  • Medical, Vision, Dental, Life and supplemental Insurance available.
  • Seven paid holidays.
  • PTO available after the first year of employment.

Fabricator / Welder

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working in a metal fabrication shop to prepare equipment for projects. Duties include cutting, welding, drilling, bending metal, punching and painting.
  • Ability to read AutoCAD drawings a plus.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • May be asked to perform work on a jobsite. This could include traveling out of town up to five days and sharing a hotel with another employee.
  • Physical activities include lifting, pulling or carrying 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to work some overtime.

  • Maintain polite, courteous, tactful communication with the public and company staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Punctual, responsible, have organized work habits and be able to keep up with deadlines and complete daily work on time with few mistakes.  Must be able to work quick, clean and complete with no loose ends.
  • Exhibit values that include integrity, accountability and a willingness to have fun.
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time, non-exempt position with hourly rate depending on experience, education, and training; overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours per week.
